Adventure to Maricopa

So most of you know that we do not babysit on Fridays, so the Friday before

Dad was coming home I thought me and Emili could clean Lynn's house early

and head out to Maricopa and surprise my mom by cleaning her house while

she was in town seeing dad. Lied to her and told her I was too busy to see dad

that day. Got the code from Roxxi so we could get in. Well we get there, code does not work, Jerilyn does not have key, can't get a hold of Britni. The whole plan is shot! Finally call Sage and find out Roxxi gave us wrong code. Get inside and pull out my Sonic tots, drop one and this is what I see! A freaking

HUGE scorpion! I jump, yes run and jump on barstool, yell for Emili as I am

dialing Jerilyn. She says just kill it. Does she not know who she is talking to?

Not going anywhere near it. Emili proceeds to get right next to it to take pictures. This is not a photo shoot ladies, kill the thing please! Jerilyn calmly scoops him up, after staring at him and takes him outside. Still not killing him.

Really, what is wrong with you? We go inside cause they tell me he is dead. Well after a few minutes I look out window, just to make sure. Oh Mr. dead scorpion is GONE, and I am supposed to clean the house now. Needless to say

I was freaked out the rest of the day everytime I picked something up. I know, I

have a lot out there that is supposed to have my dream home on it, I better toughen up. I have a few years though.

Second adventure of the day! According to the perfect plan, we would clean and then attend Maizi's 4th birthday party. So we start heading in and first we wait for the longest train ever, then we get about half way there and the road is flooded. Because of all the rain one of the washes out there was flooded. Thought we would go around the reservation, but that was where the water was coming from. No way into town! People were going through, but we were a little chicken. Cory called in to his buddies and they ended up closing the road, because it was 4 feet deep. Ya, glad I didn't chance it. Soooo, while everyone was having a dandy time at Maizi's, Cory, Jeri, Emili, Mom and I hung out. We had planned on sleeping over, but around 11:00 they opened the roads back up

so we decided to head home. I will admit I was still thinking how was I going to

sleep with "the scorpion" cruising around somewhere. Of course on the way out

we had to wait for another train. We did make it home safe and sound, and glad we could help mom out and spend the evening with part of the family. Sorry for such a long post!
