In honor of Officer Ledezma

On July 28th, I am sure most of you know that a Chandler Officer was shot
and killed. Officer Ledezma was a co- worker of Nathan's. He was actually at
the shooting. Again, this hit very close to home. The night before the viewing
Our family and Diana's family went out to the cemetary and placed blue ribbons along the road and around trees and also place a few signs too. We went to the graveside services the next day. I guess I did not realize how hard this would be, since I did not know him but it did bring back feelings of
Shane again and that was hard. We needed to support Nathan and Megan and felt we needed to give back what so many gave for Shane and Cory and Jeri. As I
was watching the procession I had a strong feeling of Shane saying, don't worry I have him, I am taking care of him. I welcomed him!
It was sooooo hot outside and to see all the officers in the full uniform dripping with sweat just showed the dedication and respect they have for their "brothers". If you go to this link, their is a slideshow and we are the last picture.
