One More Day!

As we had been at Chandler Health Care for 6 months we really got to know a lot of people. The staff, nurses, aides, patients and their family members. We are so grateful for all their care, love and friendship. We got a lot of their addresses so we can keep in touch. Quite often my mom would make goodies and take up to our "friends". They loved when she showed up with armfuls of treats. We truly feel that Dad has blessed these peoples lives and made an impact on them. We are have been blessed to meet so many wonderful people and share stories, laughs, smiles and even tears with many of them. Although it would be great to have never had to enter a Health Cares doors, we are grateful for the memories we have created there. I am sure that Zachary, Britni and I will never forget our 1st visitor on dad's first night there. Oh how we love Ruth.
We will never forget Arlene, Joel, Jesse, Doris, Mary, Josie, Richard, Barb, David the Hooter-Boobie man, Phil. These are just a few of the patients we got to know. We loved all the nurses and staff and aides. Even got to know a few of the laundry people! :) The last day was very emotional. So very excited to get dad home, but so very hard to leave our friends and a place we have been to every day for 6 months. Somehow Mom got out of being the one to walk out the last day! Man that was a tough one. (As I am bawling right now)
We are grateful for all those that came to visit, so grateful for family and a big one at that. So many of these people NEVER had visitors. So sad. Ok I guess
enough said! Sorry so long!

Deb Nash - head nurse

Peggy - one of his aides and Erin his nurse

I LOVE this picture of Reign - cry every time I
