Happy Birthday Scott and Jerry!

On July 21st we celebrated Scott and Jerry's birthday! Our kids came over and we had carne asada and then Jerry, Dorothy and Troy's family came over for brownies/ice cream. As our gift to Scott this year, we gave him a new set of scriptures. I should take a picture of the old ones. His old ones he got for his mission. They do not even include all of the D & C. They were falling apart, and
just needed to be replaced. Well we thought about this gift kind of late, like the day before. We wanted to be able to mark his new scriptures just like his old ones. So needless to say Whitni and I were up very late the night before trying to get this done. Of course, Scott went to bed late so we couldn't start til he went to bed. We stayed up as long as we could, (til yellow hi-lighter became blurry) Anyway we finished up the next day and he was extremely happy with his gift.
As you can see a bit emotional too! Next year we will be celebrating the big 50!!!
Guess it will have to be a "BIG" party.
